XS2100S provides a complete interface for Powered Devices (PD) that complies with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards. It offers detection signals, classification signals, and an isolated power switch with surge current control for PDs. The device features a 100V absolute maximum rated input and provides a signal indicating the detection status of Type 2 Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE). It can detect the connection status of wall adapter power, allowing smooth switching between PoE power and wall adapter power. Additionally, it provides a Power Good (PG) signal, two-level current limiting, foldback thermal protection, and di/dt limiting.
